Hey guys, good news! We’ve just introduced a new booking policy that maybe of some interest to you who’re planning on travelling soon to the Maldives.
- Book Now Pay Later – We understand situations are evolving everyday and flight restrictions / lockdowns may may hinder your ability to lock in travel plans. This is why you can book now and pay 20 days prior to travel.
- Flexible Refund Policy – Situation changed after you made the payment? As you may understand, we deal with many partner hotels and service providers and every business has its own cancellation policy. However, we give you our word that we’ll do everything possible to ensure that we refund your payment should you cancel your booking 14 days prior to travel. The only exception would be where suppliers/service providers are unable to refund to Island Wanderers. Bank charges may apply for refunds.
- Pay in Instalments – unable to pay all at once? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there and it’s good to know you’ve got options available. We’ll be happy to accept a payment plan that involves paying off your trip 20 days prior to departure.
- Covid-19 Refunds – get a full refund or travel credit if you’re diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days, and up to 24 hours prior to departure. Just provide us with a positive COVID-19 PCR Test certificate that is issued by an official medical institution. However, refunds may be subject to third party cancellation fees and bank charges.
Ts & Cs
The above Covid-19 Booking Flexibility policy is valid only until 28 February 2021. Customers are required to produce a COVID-19 PCT Test certificate at their own expense, showing a positive diagnosis to be eligible for a full refund or travel credit. This policy is not valid for those self-isolating due to contact with a possible or confirmed case of covid19. Island Wanderers reserves the right to check the authenticity of COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate with the provider. Island Wanderers reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this policy at any time.
