Do I need a Visa to visit Maldives?
No, all tourists visiting the country is granted a 30 Day Tourist Visa free on Arrival irrespective of nationality. This means no prior Visa arrangements needs to be made before you travel.
Do I need travel insurance?
You MUST take out adequate and suitable travel insurance in order to take part in a tour organised by us and this is a condition of your contract with us. You are wholly responsible for arranging your own travel insurance.
Is the Hotel Bookings with breakfast?
All our Hotel bookings prices are minimum inclusive of breakfast. Some hotels prices are inclusive of breakfast & dinner as well. Please check individual booking details to get accurate information.
What does Half-board, Full-board & All-Inclusive mean?
In Maldives, most resorts offer basic 3 meal options along with your stay.
- Half Board – Room rates are inclusive of breakfast & lunch or breakfast & dinner
- Full Board – Room rates are inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner
- All Inclusive – Room rates are inclusive of all meals & alcoholic drinks
However, each resort has their own policy as to whats actually included in meal option. Please check with your resorts meal policy to find out exactly whats included.
Are all prices listed on the website inclusive of taxes and service charges?
Yes, unlike other major online travel agents all our prices are inclusive of all relevant government taxes and service charges where applicable. There is no hidden fees involved.
Why are some of the room rates not listed on the website
The short answer is that our rates are so cheap we’re not allowed to list them publicly. If you’ve found the property you’re after. Just inquire with us and we’ll be happy to quote you our best rates!

We’ve taken every effort to ensure our Online Payment Transactions are secured to industry standards by ensuring our website is SSL certified and no Credit Card details are stored in any of our data centers. What's the time difference?
Maldives is five hours ahead of Greenwhich Mean Time. To offer holiday makers the optimum use of the tropical sun most resorts have their clocks put forward one hour to GMT+6

What currencies are used?
Maldives has its own currency called “Maldivian Rufiyya” (MVR) and exchanges with the USD at 1 US$ = 15.42 MVR. However, all tourist establishments and related service providers including restaurants will accept US$.
Are ATMs & Banks easily found in the Maldives
ATMs are primarily located in the Capital Island of Male’ and in Islands with larger populations. All resorts and most hotels are equipped with POS machines for cashless payments. All major Credit Cards are accepted in these machines.
Do locals speak English?
Maldives has its own unique language called “Dhivehi”. However, almost all locals are able to speak and communicate well in English so most tourists have no trouble communicating with the locals.
What kind of electric outlet is used in the country?
Most, if not all electrical outlets use standard UK 3 pin flat plugs. Maldives uses voltage of 110-220V at 50Hz. Universal travel adapters are readily available throughout the country and through your hotel or resort. But feel free to bring your own adapters to avoid any inconvenience.
